If you have a question and don’t see it here, please contact us!

What vaccinations are required?

We require Rabies, Bordetella, and Parvo/Distemper for dogs and Rabies and FVRCC for cats. If your pet is over 10 years old, contact us for our vaccination policy for older pets.

Should I bring my pet’s own food?

You can if you like, or we can provide food for your pet. We feed name-brand dog and cat foods and treats. If your pet has a special diet or food allergies, you will need to bring their own food and treats. All food needs to be in an airtight container, and because of limited storage space we ask that you not bring a container larger than 5 gallons. Grocery bags are not airtight, so please use a Ziploc or similar container instead.

My pet requires medication. Is this a problem?

This is not a problem at all! Oral and topical medications are given at no extra charge. Please be sure to bring along the original bottle the medication was prescribed in. You may have the medication in a weekly pill container, but state regulations require us to have the prescription bottle in case we need to contact your veterinarian with any questions. If your pet requires an injectable medication, please contact us prior to your pet’s stay.

Is there anything I shouldn’t bring for my pet?

YES! Please do not bring his food and water bowls. We have plenty and there is a chance that your bowls will be mixed in with ours or they will be in the dishwasher when you pick up your pet.

My pet has a favorite toy, can I bring it?

Yes you may, but please be aware that toys can get pushed out of your pet’s lodge and could be picked up by another guest and lost or destroyed. Happy Tails Pet Lodge is not responsible for lost or destroyed toys.

My pet has his or her favorite bed. Can I bring that?

Yes, we prefer beds to be easily washable in case they get wet or soiled. Large couch-type beds do not fit in our washing machine so cannot be laundered during your pet’s stay. Blankets and small padded beds are best to bring! Happy Tails Pet Lodge is not responsible for beds that are chewed on or destroyed.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”82″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Frequently Asked Questions” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Below are many of the questions we are frequently asked.
